Apple Topping Directions
Peel the apples, remove the core, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
In a heated skillet, cook the apples in melted butter. Add in brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and white sugar. Cook until the apples are tender.
In a small bowl, mix water with cornstarch. Add the mixture to the apples with maple syrup. Stir and let thicken. If the mixture is too thick add more water and maple syrup. Set aside until ready to serve.

1 ¼ cup milk
Apple Butter Pancakes Directions
In a large bowl, mix the milk, egg, sugar, vanilla extract, and apple butter until fully incorporated. Then mix in the melted butter.
Add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the bowl, then mix a final time.
Spray a large heated skillet with cooking spray and cook about ¼ cup of the pancake batter for each pancake. Flip the pancake once bubbles start to appear. Cook for a little longer and remove the heat.
Top the pancakes with the apple topping and serve warm.
